About Hayıt Honey
Hayit honey, when first harvested, is very clear and very slightly reddish yellow in color. However, as time passes, its color darkens and after six months it turns into a dark red color close to black. The most popular chaste honey is known as Marmaris chaste honey.

Hayıt is a plant that grows in the Mediterranean climate. Since its leaves resemble an open hand, chasteberry, also known as "five-finger grass", blooms in June and July. Its purple and white flowers are clustered around a sprout on each branch.
