1. Add 50 milliliters (1.7 oz) of water per cup of desired coffee to the cezve (ibrik).
2. Add sugar to taste and stir to blend.
3. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
4. Add a teaspoon of coffee per cup and boil the coffee.
5. Immediately remove the cezve from heat after the first boil, discard the accumulated foam, and mix well.
6. Boil the coffee again.
7. Immediately remove the cezve from heat after the second boil, discard the accumulated foam, and mix well.
8. Allow the remaining powder to settle before serving. You can add a tablespoon of cold water to the pot after boiling twice to accelerate the process.
