About Organic Lavender Honey

Every year, we move some of our hives to the lavender region in the Taurus Mountains for the production of lavender honey. Lavenders, which start to bloom in early June, generously offer lavender nectar to our bees until mid-July. Our bees get most of their lavender honey from lavender nectar. Lavender honey does not smell like lavender, but has a distinctive taste and smell. Since lavender honey is a monoflora flower honey, it gets its aroma from the lavender flower.
