It is in gel form, fluid consistency, creamy-white color. Its taste is sour and its smell is sharp phenolic structure. Its density is 1.1 g/cm³ and it is partially soluble in water. Although it is not related to the milk formed in the udder of mammals, it is called "milk" in some languages such as Turkish, Croatian (Matična mliječ), Bulgarian (Пчелно млечице) because of its use in feeding offspring and its milk-like appearance.

How to Prepare
